Timeshare Relief for Movable Property and Resort – Type Timeshares

Of late, luxury timeshare vacations are fast losing their novelty. This is somehow caused by the growing number of timeshare owners displeased over their timeshare vacation packages. Some of these owners are eager for any manner of timeshare relief that would come their way. The novelty of timeshare vacation packages is overbalanced by the hefty fees associated with timeshare ownership. Hence, more and more owners are seeking ways to be free from their timeshare vacation packages.

Timeshare hotels and resorts can be found in most of the vacation destinations in the world. Peak vacation destinations such as Hawaii or the Caribbean almost always have timeshare vacation getaways in their territories. The timeshare model has spread globally since its inception in the 1970s by a Frenchman. In fact, timeshares today are not limited to immovable property such as hotels and resorts. There are also several timeshare models that capitalize on movable property as their main source of attraction.

Today, timeshare business models are applied in all manner of chattel properties as there are now timeshares for sale in yachts, caravans, and safaris. Owners who purchase timeshares for a yacht will have exclusive ownership rights on that yacht for a specified duration of time. This also goes the same in timeshare safaris where owners can purchase timeshares for week long safari expeditions.

Timeshares on movable property have different timeshare liabilities for their owners compared to more traditional timeshare real estate packages. However, maintenance fees still exists in all kinds of timeshares. Thus, timeshares on movable property still require owners to pay a corresponding fee to counter the effects of normal wear and tear. By reason of this financial stress, many owners of timeshares on movable property today still wish to get rid of their timeshares, much the same as owners of more traditional vacation packages.
